An injury to one is an injury to all!
We received word late last night from our brothers and sisters at Shoppers that they are experiencing retaliation from Shoppers’ management as a direct result of their contract fight. Our union local, Local 400, has filed charges with the National Labor Relations Board which claim that the company is infringing on the rights of union members at Shoppers to engage in protected, concerted activity.
What does this mean?
The NLRA affords union members the right to engage in activity together on the shop floor and elsewhere. This includes everything that we did as part of our contract campaign and while the Shoppers contract fight is quite different, it includes everything that they’ve been doing.

What do they need us to do?
Call Shoppers customer service/corporate at: 1-855-746-7737 and tell them that you won’t stand for this retaliatory treatment. Please call often. These are our fellow union members and we must show all of our employers that an injury to one is an injury to all!
